About me: First of all you must know I don't really consider myself an artist. When people ask I tell them I'm a doodler. Although I have a BFA in commercial art, I find it difficult defining myself as an artist because there are so many people who work at that craft far more than I do and truly excel at fine art whereas I am merely mediocre at whimsical art. To define myself as a fine artist would be sacriledge and a slap in the face to fine artists everywhere. I find art almost as therapeutic as motorcycle riding. But let's face it, nothing is more therapeutic than a fine glass of wine served at the prpoer temperature along with a nicely roasted duck and a Grand Marnier souffle to follow. But I digress.....in any case, in the last few years I have finally loosened up and begun to paint in a way that I find rewarding. I'm even dropping a few inhibitions along the way and am finally enjoying my own art. Hell I might even hang a few pieces on my own walls and NOT use them for dartboards. That would be a first. I'm thoroughly enjoying the Imagination Squared project and am so elated with the new art friends I am making along the way. Let's do this regularly!
