Native Floridian, art educator, published illustrator and professional artist, I have a new book coming out soon. TRAVELS WITH A BLUE VASE is a 120-page collection of watercolor sketches made on location in France, Italy and Greece. My philosophy echoes that of Renoir: “ A picture should be something likable, joyous and pretty. There are enough ugly things in life for us not to add to them.” Most of my paintings include flowers, food, and/or the sea.
