Title: "Compassion Mantra"

My square contains a 7-color silkscreen, cut out and mounted on black-core foam core. I pasted this onto the square, which I gessoed in black. I wanted to give a slight dimensionality to the silkscreen, so it could rest above the surface of the square. The image is in Sanskrit: the syllables OM • MA • NI • PE • ME • HUM are arranged in a circular pattern with HRI in the very center of the mandala. Tibetans have this mantra on their lips practically before they are born! Saying or whispering the syllables aloud represents a heartfelt wish for happiness and compassion for all sentient beings.

Imagination = to the nth degree. It has no beginning and no end.
