Decades ago in Manhattan’s garment district I became an apprentice handweaver and joined the ancient path of fiber art.

This Imagination Squared project provoked concepts of the cosmic community and the zodiac.  Scorpio Space features an energetic Scorpio glyph of needle felted wool, ingeo (corn silk), and assorted fibers, dancing across an embellished night sky of cotton fabric.

Imagination and creativity are basic threads in the tapestry of being human.
