Lori Taylor has been a collage/assemblage artist for over 20 years which branched out after learning the art of picture framing in the early 80's. Her artwork is an expression of design taken from a love of textures and colors found in nature as well as her work as a decorator with the use of textiles and products associated in that field. Lori has many facets of work in mixed media with the use of found objects metal and beads.... always trying new concepts and techniques to create pieces that are unique and varied in style.

This block was created as a reverse glass technique in a collage and enhanced on the front with dimensional items like the scroll and the heart and dimensionalized with spacers.
